La nuit des musées

Tonight is La Nuit Des Musées. I was at Beaubourg tonight. A lot of museums are open til 2 am tonight, and it's free! So all of Paris took advantage of it!

Watching a film of the circus that the american artist/engineer Alexander Calder created (between 1926 and 1931) out of small figures he had made out of recycled materials, animated by simple mechanisms.

I really liked theese sculptures by Nikki de Saint Phalle.
The crucifixion and... I don't remember the name of the other one that looks like a bride.

A guy working at the museum trying to tell the story behind a piece of art called Udnie by Francis Picabia, 1913.
Then some random man comes out from nowhere saying:
(the random man)-Hey! I saw your other colleagues talking about other paintings as well!!!...
(Guy working at the museum)- Ok, well...anyways...
-No! I just wanna say that all the stuff you say is BULLSHIT! You are not telling the truth!!!
Other people keep telling the man to shut up and let the guy talk about the piece of art.
(the man):No, but why are you listening to all this BULLSHIT!!
people laughing
(the guy): No, ok, let's hear what this man has to say about the art.
(the old man): Well, its...paint and form.
people keep laughing.
An old lady leaves saying:-Can you please just let the young man talk and say what he was going to say. You're boring us out!
(the old man): Well, I prefer to tell you all the truth and bore you out than just let this man talk about a bunch of crap!
another man: Can You just let us hear what he has to say, we don't care...
the old man: IT'S EXACTLY THAT, That is the problem! You don't care! I bet you're just doing this to get paid(looking at the guy working at the museum) but I can't listen to you talking about contemporary art, I'm out of hear.
So people expect the young man to continue talk about the painting. And he says:
-Well, I guess we need to keep circulating.
And people still just stood there waiting for him to talk more about the painting.
-No, actually there is no more, it was set up.

So FUCKING LAME!

Paris Beaubourg by night.
