I'll just let the destiny decide....

I have no words anymore. My jacket for Volcom is now gone. I had left it for the open house this weekend. And it just disappeared. I don't know if someone left with it, or if it's hidden somewhere really good. Because I've been searching with the teachers about 5 times everywhere in school, and I've asked all the people in my school.
The teachers has seen the jacket, Volcom is coming tomorrow to decide the winner. And I have nothing to show. I'll just believe it's the destiny that doesn't want me to do this... I hope it's bringing me something better though. Because the beginning of this year has not exactly been the best year....

Volcom shooting

After I tiring weekend I've finaly gotten my sleep and I've even had time to retouch photos, and have them printed. I'm so happy I managed to gather a great team with a cool athmosphere. We finaly did it by the Samaritaine building. A big abandoned warehouse in chatelet.
Even though we got out a bit late after have been putting on make up, doing the hair and deciding the complementary garments, we got the first part of the photoshoot with Sara with a bit of daylight, and the second part with Elodie we got night light.
It creates two stories around the garment, one a bit more poetic and innocent and the other a bit more harch and underground.

Thanks again to
Benoit for taking the photos
Sara and Elodie for posing
Sandrine for doing the make up

You rock!

My project with a student from Modspé

We're working on a collaboration between the brasilian graffiti artist Alexandre Orion and the brasilian shoebrand Veja.

organizing photoshoots, hell!

Ok, I'm going to cry soon. I'm looking for an urban space in Paris that ould fit in with my Volcom project. A friend suggested Piscine Molitor, but to me it sounds pretty closed.
And then I was gonna pass through an artist studio to get to the abandoned rails by Maraichers, but he is not there the weekend, and my models and photographers are not free during the week. So I'm gonna try to look up the area around Les Frigos...
Hopefully I'll find something...

Oh, God, one week of work, of trying to dye the fabric to the right colour, embrodering, paintings...is now int he trash. Starting over. I'm about to draw all the things I had planned to do with papier transfer...It looks much nicer, but goes about 100x slower. so yes, I'm slightly panicking, since the garment should be done next week..... Oh god, if you really exist, give me 48h in a day!

Kenny suggested me this blogg. It contains just a bunch of images of creative fashion design objects. Makes me think of the magazine WEar, just that it doesn't cost me a fortune to look at it...
