Week at NIKE

This week we're squatting at NIKE's showroom. It's nice to change the environment a bit. We have 16 costumes plus accessories to do til next monday. This evening they had invited a couple of people to see a projection of how ARV is helping sick people in africa. Because what we're making the costumes for is the soccergame that is being held at the espace 104, it's gonna be between different clothing labels, and it's all organised to symbolise the fight against AIDS.

ANDREA CREWS shooting

Today I helped out with the photoshoot of the NUDE collection. Maroussia had borrowed a fancy art deco-rated parisian appartement in the 9th arrondissement.
It had so many pretty objects, and I can't wait for the serie to come out.
May I have a glass of bourbon please.

I love theese flowery wallpapers.

This photo is so cute of the children running after the white birds.

Shoes from Maroussia's private collection. and that I want.

Dogs nodding.

a big garden at the Champs Elysée

During the weekend they installed a big garden at the champs elysee representing the agricultural production in all the french regions.

Like pineapples for example :)

TEA

After a taste of "french medecin", (I visited a doctor in France for the first time during my 3 years in Paris), I took the day off, because instead of making you feel better, my doctor made me feel like total shit!
I took a walk around Paris in the sun, got a sunburn, and I'm now at home drinking my super FOXTROT tea, in my super teacup with my super tea pot, I got it all from Adrien. It's kind of a gift you give to your grandma, but I just loved it all. Tea make me think of my swedish friends. We loved to meet up for a tea, Yes I know, instead of (just, we did sometimes) drinking alcohol like normal teenagers, we also met up for a cup of tea!

My new goal is by the end of this internship I'll manage Illustrator fluently! I spent the whole day using photoshop and Illustrator. Photoshop I'm pretty used to right now, I'm not doing very advanced stuff, but I know what everything is used for, but I totaly got lost using Illustrator.

The shop at its greatest, lol, not really, we are still in the process of chaning the window.

I've been listening a lot to Radio Nova. It's a favorite music source right now.

The best thing about living in the city is to get out of there

I think I just gained new life.
Adrien's mother invited us for a dinner at her house in Fontainebleau.
I didn't know seing green was gonna make me feel so good.
I saw his whole family, his brother just got out of a competition in Tennis, the next players playing at Roland Garros.
We took a long fresh walk around the castle of Napoleon and Louis IX (not sure?)
AND! the sun is back in paris :) I'm happy!

damn artists

This evening we finished 21h30!! We are supposed to finish 19h. The worse thing is I had no important things to do during the day, then suddenly in the last minute, Maroussia decided to move around all the things in the showroom/boutique, because there are a lot of clothes they never get sold. It was kinda frustrating, because I was already supertired and I needed to work on things for school, and I was superhungry. So in the end when Anji asked me to organise the stock a bit I got kinda grumpy....!!
I know that artists always work until late hours, they kind of just work as soon as they get there ideas, and they feel they have to do it straight away, so I totaly understood Maroussia. When you get frustrated because something doesn't work, you want to fix it directly. But I was so hungry and tired, and I don't feel like staying the whole evening, and on top of this I'm not paid. Well, we got to take some clothes, she thought looked weird, that they have had for a really long time, that kind of are rests from solds they had like years ago...

I need to go to bed, so I can get up early tomorrow. I don't work tomorrow, because it's a holiday, but I need to work at home, and I need to see if school is open to get my stuff back from the school show last week.

I'm constantly having horrible dreams right now. I wish I could tell you all about them, but everytime I'm trying to tell Adrien about them I realise how complicated it is to get it, if you're not a part of it.

vernissage at NIKE's

Yesterday finished late with AC. We had a vernissage/atelier at NIKE's showroom (which is gorgeous by the way!)
We had lots of food and champagne. And I've never seen so many graphic designers,... wearing NIKE's before, lol. It was beautiful!

Theese are the prototypes for the clothes the cheerleaders are gonna wear for some shows in the end of may. I don't really know what the whole deal with the cheerleaders are, but I'm sure it's gonna be fun...ha-ha

This is our atelier at NIKE's, we're kinda squatting chez eux right now.

The showroom, with some beautiful shoes

I'm still keeping in mind to look for an internship with them next year.

First day at ANDREA CREWS

So the first day at ANDREA CREWS started of pretty good. It was a calm day, finished some of the clothes Maroussia, Pascal and Anji had had made on the Canari Islands. They had a workshop there last week.

I'm getting very inspired for the VENTE that we're having the 6th of June, but I just can't get started.

I also forgot to drink durin the whole day, so my head is aching pretty a lot right now, awful----

Best sunday ever

Nothing as a calm sunday at the fleamarket at St.Ouen

...and of course a panini on the street

Pontus Grate scholarship!

ITs 8am a sunday morning and I'm up, happy as a bird, one of the reasons are because I got the PONTUS GRATE SCHOLARSHIP!!

This past weeks, I've been so tired of Paris, and also because it has been the end of the year, and I've just been tired. But this just makes me supermotivated.
I have one month left until our sold. Every student is suppose to make something that could be sold. TOTEM is agan helping us to promote this VENTE. It's the 6th of may, and I've had a hard time figuring out what I should do that I can do good! and that could be sold. But the hard part is that we are totaly on our own. Because everybody are on internships now so we are suppose to pass by school some times to get out products validated.

So today is gonna be work work work. LOVIN IT ;)
