The artistic director of Toni&Guy Vladimir VREBA, the stylist Elsée DALL'AVA and the architect/multidisciplinary artist Adrian SIERRA GARCIA had put together a fashionshow with the theme "Negation de soi"
They are transformed by projecting an illusory image of their choice, and they erase their true self, physically and emotionally by the use of foreign elements in the body. Self-reflection and self-action eradicated.

Yesterday I was suppose to see the expo of Basquiat and Larry Clark at the Musée d'Art Moderne, I arrived there half an hour earlier then my meeting with Adrien, because I wanted to take some photos of Palais de Tokyo and the museum of modern art. I saw the line and it was literaly almost til metro Alma-Marceau.... I called Adrien and decided to go and see a movie instead.
Les petits mouchoirs was on my mind. I had seen some posts on facebook, saying they had had a good cry after it. I had always wondered if I would be able to fall a tear for a french movie. a) because its in french b) because french movies always seem too melancholic to me. Anyways, in the end I sat there crying like a homeless dog. But it had some funny bits too though. Me liking it.

Oh god my back! Antonin just showed me a boutique where they give away old fashion magazines for free. So I think I just carried home magazines worth 2000eur. It feels good to know people care about poor art students :D

My wardrobe at it's best, one of our assignements is to talk about our wardrobes, and just kind of analyze how we arrange them and what we prefer, what we use on a daily basis, what we bring for vacation, what we refer to great memories.

Vacation but no vacation

My boss just asked me if I was on vacation now. (Toussaint in France) I was like no, sorry yes I am!
And he goes: "Oh, you're on vacation!" as in: great so you can work more hours.
No, it's not possible. I know Im on vacation but it doesnt feel like it. So many things to do. It doesnt help with the bureaucracy in France. I think Ive spent about 4 hours in the metro just to get an application and refill it. So Im now on my way out AGAIN to get a new application because something went wrong with the first one.
...breath in breath out....
I havent had time to update my blog time either. This morning I just handed in our file for Valentine Gauthier the designer we've been working for this past month. What a relief!
